Meet Chef Thierry Smits


Chef Thierry Smits, born and trained in Belgium, France, is an internationally acclaimed executive Master Chef skilled in French and International cuisine. Dedicated to the artistry of food preparation graduated with Grand distinctions of the world famous Ecole Hosteliaire Royal of Belgium. He was formally executive Chef of Belgium's two star Michelin guide of restaurants, "La Cense Blanche". Chef Thierry is fully trained in classical French and international cuisine, pastry display and decorations ice carving and baking, His cooking is delicately French spiced, prepared with light sauce and beautifully served in appetizing portions. Chef Thierry has created menus' for U.S. Presidential functions, for the Royal Family and for New York's prestigious Beefeater Club. Thierry is the third generation of chef's, and has been involved in all aspects of the restaurant family business for over twenty years. However, his love has always been cooking for family and friends. Chef Thierry holds a Master Degree in Culinary Art and is a member of the American and Belgium Chef Associations and National Restaurant Serve Save Associations.
